Description
Bockingford Watercolor Paper Spiral Pad A4 (297 X 210 mm) 300 GSM (CP NOT)
Bockingford is a beautiful English watercolor paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill.
This is a high quality paper made using pure materials to archival standards.
The NOT finish means the paper is not surface-sized, allowing for excellent water absorption and color lifting capabilities.
Suitable for various watercolor techniques, including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and glazing.
The paper is acid-free and buffered with calcium carbonate, preventing deterioration and yellowing over time.
The paper is flexible and can be easily manipulated for various techniques.
It is suitable for watercolor, gouache, ink, and light acrylic washes.
A4 size perfect for studies, sketches and small finished artworks.
It is fit easily into portfolios, folders, or scanners.
It is convenient standard size for framing, scanning, and sharing.
Handle the paper by the edges or underside. Avoid touching the area to be painted, as oils from the skin could affect the wash.
Lighter weight papers (300g/m² and lighter) may benefit from soaking and stretching to avoid the paper cockling (buckling) when applying washes.
Frame finished paintings with acid free materials to preserve the paper’s archival qualities.
As with all original artworks, paintings should be framed behind glass and hung away from direct sunlight.
It is 100% vegan friendly.
