The Da Vinci Colineo Series 5822 Synthetic Kolinsky Sable Flat Brush is made from 100% synthetic fibres that offer the same performance as genuine sable. These flat profile brushes are fantastic for creating angular brush strokes and glazes. Their edge can also be used for more precision, sharp edges.

The Colineo Brush range uses the very latest developments in synthetic technology to deliver a brush that performs like sable but with none of the animal ingredients. . They offer watercolourists a brush with an extra fine tip, a tapered point, high elasticity and excellent colour carrying capacity. These brushes also have Da Vinci’s signature ‘esagonal’ handles so you can paint in comfort. At their thickest part, the handles flatten into a hexagonal shape to aid grip.
