The Da Vinci Colineo Series 422 Synthetic Kolinsky Sable Fan Brush is made from completely synthetic fibres that mimic the properties of geuine sable. These fan shaped brushes are well suited to blending and also for creating special effects.

The Colineo Brush range uses the very latest developments in synthetic technology to deliver a brush that performs like sable but with none of the animal ingredients. Colineo’s unique brush tips are made from synthetic hairs of various shapes, sizes and textures – this gives the brushes a similar look and feel to genuine Siberian Kolinsky Red Sable hair. They offer watercolourists a brush with an extra fine tip, a tapered point, high elasticity and excellent colour carrying capacity. These brushes also have Da Vinci’s signature ‘esagonal’ handles so you can paint in comfort. At their thickest part, the handles flatten into a hexagonal shape to aid grip.
