Angus McEwan was born and educated in Scotland. An International award winning Artist who uses strong colours, love of textures and a passion for travel and observing the world around him with penetrating realism. His work uses optical mixing which employs layer upon layer of contrasting colours to create vibrant but cutting edge watercolours.

Angus enjoys traveling whenever he can to hunt for new ideas in the best light and spends plenty of follow-up time in the studio time to get the outcomes he envisions. He sometimes adds something of his own to the original scene to take his vision to a deeper, more inspired level, making it beyond real.
