Because they are heat-resistant to 450°F (232°C), they excel with encaustics. Artists are using them with ceramics, plaster, clay and more as sculpting and modelling tools.
Made of FDA-approved silicone, the Catalyst range of Blades and Wedges are food safe making them ideal for food crafting as well. They can be used for decorative cooking and cake decoration, specifically fondant art, sugar art, frosting, icing & glazing.
